Met Gala Best Looks

The biggest night in fashion celebrated old Hollywood glamour where many Hollywood stars showcased amazing looks on the red carpet.This year’s theme centers around the “Gilded Age”.

The theme is actually a continuation of last year’s Met Gala that was titled “In America: A Lexicon in Fashion,”which looked at modern fashion in the U.S. But this year’s “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” looks at the historical fashion in the Met’s American Wing.The dress code itself is “gilded glamour, white tie.”Combined with the museum exhibit featuring men’s and women’s dresses dating from the eighteenth century to the present.

1. Blake Lively

Dressed in Atelier Versace, Blake had our jaws drop by her gown, which was then unwrapped on the steps of the Met to reveal another underneath. Lively’s dress is inspired by New York City’s architecture, where the blue accents represent the Statue of Liberty, while the golden design symbolized the Empire State Building. 

2. Laura Harrier

Laura Harrier looked absolutely stunning in her custom-made, hand-stitched slate-grey H&M gown, which was created in collaboration with the famous designer Victor Glemaud. And for the jewelry, Harrier and her stylist, Danielle Nachmani decided to accessorize her look with jewelry from David Yurman.

3. Genesis Suero

Genesis Suero, a news anchor for the Spanish-language broadcaster Telemundo totally understood the assignment and had us all impressed by her beautiful off-white dress that is designed by New York-based designer Lucia Rodriguez.

Dressed in Gucci, Billie looked beautiful with her silky corset gown that adheres to the dress code. And the best thing about this dress is that’s it’s eco friendly and upcycled!

The Spanish singer Rosalía was dressed in Givenchy Haute couture and looked cheque with her touch of sunglasses.

Just like his sister Billie Elish, Finneas opted to wear Gucci in a tailcoat with pleated skirt, black pants, and a GG shirt.

3. Stromae

The Belgian singer Stromae wore a tailored checked suit from his own label Mosaert, consisting of trousers, a jacket, and a cape. He combined the look with jewelry from Cartier dating from 1906.

4. Evan Mock

Evan Mock opted for a corset suit by Head of State with a big ruff around the neck, black square-toe boots, and Cartier jewelry.

5. Shawn Mendes

Dressed in Tommy Hilfiger, Shawn Mendes was giving us Disney prince vibes with his navy blue overcoat with red lining.
