Astonishing Women Who Impressed Us This Year At The 76th Cannes Film Festival

This year was the 76th edition of the Cannes film festival to take place. However, this year was a little bit different. I think it makes us all happy to see more women succeed in their careers – especially in careers that require too much for anybody to succeed in like the film industry. This year Cannes film festival was a big turning point for women. it was filled with inspiration, and hope and it sure didn’t disappoint.

At the closing ceremony that took place on May 27 at the Grand Theatre Lumiere, the winners of the 76th edition of the Festival were announced. the movie Anatomie D’une Chute ( Anatomy of a Fall ), a French thriller, which is starring Sandra Hüller won the Palme d’Or.

What made this a more unique and outstanding success was the director of the movie, Justine Triet, who is only the third woman to win the Palme d’Or after Julia Ducournau in 2021 and Jane Campion in 1993. The movie wasn’t only directed by Justine Triet, it was also co-written by her and Arthur Harari.

Brie Larson: Cannes’ Captain Marvel

Moving on Brie Larson, who most of us might know as “Captain Marvel “, keeps impressing us with her beauty and success. Brie Larson’s appearance at the Cannes film festival this year was a little bit special. She attended as a jury member at this year’s festival. She didn’t only impress us with her success, but also with her elegant and glamorous appearance in Channel. Larson also complemented her dress with a fabulous set of diamond jewellery which matched the simple, chic look that she was going with. Merve Dizdar

Last but not least, Merve Dizdar, the Turkish actress who won this year’s Best Actress award at Cannes for her role in About Dry Garsses. Dizdar is only 36, yet she has been acting since 2010 and finally, she became the first Turkish woman to win the best actress award at the Cannes film festival!
