What to do when going out in Cairo?

You get the famous text “Let’s go out shbab”. You keep planning what to do and where to go, but it always ends up with y’all visiting the same place in Cairo and eating the same food. It gets annoying after a while that people start to cancel plans and hangouts, so here we come to save your “khurget el shella”. There are a lot of gems in Cairo that not a lot of people know about. They are most likely underrated and very exciting.

1- Cairo Jazz Club

One of the most underrated night clubs in Cairo. It’s the perfect place to visit, specially if you’re a music fan. People there express their feelings and their words with music. You can always have the best time there, by enjoying the vibes of the place and the amazing food served. It’s definitely the place you’re looking for if you’re looking for a relaxing and different type of night out with friends.

2- Crimson Bar And Grill

A hidden gem in Zamalek, while you enjoy the view of nile river you get to meet people from different countries and cultures, getting to know them and actually enjoy their mindsets that will most definitely differ from yours, leaving you stunned with the how different yet the same we all are. The conversations will keep going for hours, people say they forget about their own lives there. A fun experience and a good change, if you’re willing to try.

3- The Cairo Cellar

It’s an unusual experience, since you get to live the life of the royal as the place has been offering electrifying nightlife scene since Egypt was dusting off the monarchy. In the President Hotel’s basement, you get to change your life and the view of your country.

4- Zawya

First art house screening in Egypt, it provides you with alternative types of films from different parts of the world, documentaries, short films and feature films and experimental work. It also focuses on local independent movies to encourage Egyptian and Arab filmmakers.

5- Indoor Skydiving at Aerodium Egypt

Some of us cannot really experience the real skydiving experience, because of medical conditions or phobias. So trying this new experience with friends can be really fun, as it is something new and definitely out of your comfort zone.
