When I hear a movie fit for summer, the first movie that comes to mind is the one and only Mamma Mia! This film symbolizes the summer time with it’s island setting and ocean view in every scene. Staring Meryl Streep , Amanda Seyfried , Pierce Brosnan , Stellan Skarsgård , and Colin Firth. This musical rom-com goes around (Sophie) a bride-to-be trying to find her father before her wedding and after a few twist of events, the ending will surprise you!
Murder Mystery (2019)
If you ever get in a detective mood, the best movie to watch then is Murder Mystery. Nick and Aubrey Spitz take a long over-due honeymoon to Europe meeting a young billionaire who invites them to his family cruise where a murder takes place, if the couple wish to clear their name as suspects, they’ll have to figure out who the real murderer is. Freaky Friday (2003)
Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, the iconic mother-daughter duo, get together in a movie where the over-worked mother doesn’t get along with her daughter, they wake up one day their bodies switched and they each have to adapt with the other’s life for a Friday, a Freaky Friday.
The Proposal (2009)
I think we can all agree that rom-com is the genre most fit for summer. In this rom-com starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, is about a pushy boss forcing her assistant into a marriage of convince to keep her U.S work vise and avoid getting deported back to Canada.
Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
A movie-based-book starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding and Gemma Chan following native New Yorker Rachel Chu as she meets her billionaire boyfriend’s family in Singapore. This movie is defiantly on the list if you’re carving a good laugh!
27 Dresses (2008)
Reaching my personal favorite, 27 Dresses is about a young woman who served as a bridesmaid 27 times wrestling the idea of being a bridesmaid for a 28th time as she stands next to her sister while she marries the man she secretly loves .
Instant Family (2018)
With Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne and Isabela Merced serving us with a family-friendly movie to watch during a family night in. When a couple with an empty life foster three children, they find themselves in a weird spiral of events, will they be able to raise three Latin hot-headed kids?
13 Going on 30 (2004)
Have you ever wished to grow up? well, this girl Jenna Rick did, after wishing on her 13th birthday to be a 30 year-old woman Jenna wakes up the next day as her 30 year-old self. Jennifer Garner delivering the role wonderfully alongside Mark Ruffalo, they create a once in a life-time masterpiece.
10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
Another personal favorite, high-school boy Cameron can’t date his crush until her anti-social older sister Kat has a boyfriend, so he does the unthinkable paying a mysterious guy, Patrick to charm Kat and Take her out. With a cast like this you’re on for one heck of a movie, starring Julia Stiles
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the legend Heath Ledger.
Raising Helen (2004)
After a tragic accident that kills her sister and brother-in-law, Helen, a young woman becomes her sister’s three kids guardian, will Helen be able to be a mother or will she be forced to give the kids up? with Kate Hudson and John Corbett rocking this movie, it’s defiantly a one of a kind!
