In contrast to prior movies, Spider-Man: Across The Spider Verse surprisingly excludes post-credit scenes.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse viewers who stuck around until the very end may have been a little displeased to learn that there were no post-credits scenes, which was surprising considering the fact that Marvel and Sony have made a point to include them in almost every superhero film over the past few years. Which also opposes far from home, which had not one , but two post credit scenes.
This is a well animated film that deviates significantly from the recent trend of superhero films. Additional scenes can occasionally be entertaining, but they can also lessen the emotional effect of the movie’s ending.
Instead of a silly extra scene or some sort of teaser, Across The Spider-Verse wants viewers to walk away remembering the finale. It’s a wise decision and comparatively uncommon.
However, the creators did include the title card to Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse at the ending of the graphic segment, which can only increase your excitement for the movie’s launch.
