Halloween costumes

Almost time for Halloween! We’ve got you covered if you put off making your costume until the last possible moment (relatable). Fortunately, Halloween costume ideas are easy to come by with iconic characters that we love.

  • You could go as the iconic Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad, her blue and pink hair and her iconic lines make her the perfect memorable character to dress up as. To pair with Harley would be the Joker. The Joker has been around since the DC comics came out and you can never go wrong with the killer couple.
  • Jennifer from Jennifer’s Body is a more iconic female character in movie history. She is truly a right of passage to dress up as, the demon that kills boys for youth, actually she “goes both ways.’
  • Cher from Clueless is a timeless character. As clueless as she gets she’s a badass feminist. Along with her best friend Dionne Davenport. The truly iconic best friend duo to go as. “As if” anyone can top them.
  • In honor of the late Oliva Newton-John, the perfect couple’s costume would be Sandy and Danny from Grease. A truly timeless couple.
  • Going as a vampire never failed anyone, like Katherine Peirce or her “do-gooder” Doppelganger Elena Gilbert or Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. Or the witch that never fails to save the day, Bonnie Bennett. Or the “good brother” Stefan Salvatore.
  • Star Wars fans will love going as Anakin Skywalker. His angsty story and lovable and yet hatable end make for a great Halloween costume.
  • Tatum from Scream (1998) makes for a great costume with her iconic yet short scene, “please don’t kill me, Mr. Ghostface. I wanna be in the sequel.”
  • Being Mr. Ghostface himself never threatened anyone…except the people he wanted dead anyways. At least you’ll be memorable.
  • Edna from The Incredibles may only have one outfit, but she is truly a fashion icon for the ages.
  • Wednesday Addams From The Addams Family the genuinely creepy family will never cease to be a great Halloween costume.
  • Tate from American Horror Story. Tate is one of the better-loved characters on TikTok right now.
  • The Ghostbusters from Ghostbusters. Enough said. This is the best Halloween costume.
  • Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid.
  • Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians and Cruella. Whether you prefer the original version of her with the fur coat or the red dress from Emma Stone’s glamorous version of her in Cruella, this costume is as fabulous as it’s spooky. Just promise us you won’t take embracing her personality to the next level.
  • Luke from Gilmore Girls. He is all in. So was Lorelai Gilmore.
