A DAY IN A LIFE OF: a model

Hi! My name is Hana Tawfik, I’m 19 this coming October, And I model

How a typical day of modeling would go, usually consists of a brand reaching out to me asking to collaborate. We agree on the date, time, and location of the photoshoot and everything’s set. Sometimes it’s a free photoshoot where the photographer and I can plan different outfits and hairstyles, and other times it’s a set photoshoot for a brand of clothes where they choose my hair and style of clothes.

I love being a model, I have so much fun doing what I do and I look forward to every photo shoot. The day of a photoshoot usually requires me to wake up really early, although I’m not much of an early bird but hey when you’re doing what I do, it’s worth it. Photoshoots can go on for hours and hours, it’s a long day of hard work, posing and changing quickly between outfits, reapplying makeup, fixing hair, etc.

I started modeling when I was 5, I stopped for a while then I started again when I was 14 and I still model till this day, and I’ve never loved anything more. Everything about modeling is so exciting, to be honest. The stereotypes about being a certain height or being a certain weight are being abolished bit by bit, the modeling industry is becoming more and more inclusive, anyone can do it with practice!

I am a person who loves food, I honestly don’t alter anything in my eating habits for modeling I eat anything and everything. I used to work out but it wasn’t for modeling it was for my personal gain. Although this doesn’t apply to everyone but I just wanted to mention that to let you guys know that you don’t have to eat or do certain exercises to be a model.
