If you’re like me, and prefer to stay away from animal products, you’re probably panicking about what you’re gonna do with Eid-al-Adha coming up, it could be an exceptionally hard time for vegans, vegetarians, and people with dietary restrictions who don’t eat meat or any animal products. I’ve come to gather some truly finger-licking good vegan meal ideas for both you and me. So, If you happen to be one of those people or fall into this category in any way, this is for you!

Starting light & easy, my go-to is always a salad. I mean you can never go wrong with a salad you know? It’s quick, easy, basically effortless, and most importantly, extremely refreshing during this hot weather.

Another known and extremely delicious dish is pasta, there are endless vegan & mouth-watering ways to eat pasta, do it how it best suits you!

Mushroom or bean burger patties are also pretty good, protein-dense, and filling, you can definitely do it yourself or you can find them at most supermarkets.

How could I forget to mention one of the most famous Egyptian foods, Koshari! Honestly, this might be the most superior vegan meal to ever exist, with a good amount of protein from the lentils, and carbs to keep you full for longer, it’s just the perfect combination.

More traditional Arab food examples would be fava beans, falafel, grape leaves, lentil soup, and molokhia with rice is also an amazing combo, all of those are examples that you can never go wrong with.

Cooked veggies like broccoli, carrots, and peas along with any kind of carbohydrates like pasta are also a classic. & If you’re looking for a quick and filling snack, you can always go with potatoes-which can be done in truly many many different ways, fries, wedges, chips, and the list goes on- or nachos with plenty of different dip options like guac or salsa!

Being vegan can be hard sometimes, especially around holidays, but always remember why & what you’re doing it for. And if you think about it, you can veganize any meal you want with just a tad bit of effort and it can still taste just as amazing.
