I recently visited SLRP Ramen & Rolls Bar at The District in Dubai Mall with two of my friends, and I have to say, it was such a delight from start to finish. This spot, which has quickly become one of the UAE’s go-to Japanese-inspired hangouts, definitely lives up to its hype.
From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing. The team was genuinely friendly, welcoming us with big smiles and making us feel comfortable right away. It’s rare to walk into a place and feel so instantly at ease, but SLRP nailed it.
Now, onto the food. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, with bold flavors and attention to detail. The real surprise for me was the fried calamari. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy at all, every bite was addictive.
The A5 wagyu burger was another standout. Juicy, rich, and packed with flavor, it had that perfect balance between indulgent and satisfying. I also appreciated how the menu doesn’t just stick to traditional ramen and rolls; there’s a creative, playful energy in every dish that makes dining here feel fun rather than just a meal.
The vibe at SLRP is exactly what you’d hope for,laid-back, playful, and proudly Japanese-inspired. The decor, the vibes, and the staff all come together to make it a place where you want to linger, chat, and enjoy every bite.
