Over the Years with Arabs Got Talent: 7 Seasons with Different Souls

Heard about the new season of Arabs Got Talent? Haven’t you ever got the chance to watch any of the previous seasons? Arabs Got Talent is a competitive TV program streaming exclusively on MBC. The competition is not limited to one talent, talents differ but the main goal is entertainment. Perhaps you missed a lot of fun, but let us make it up for you in this recap of the last seasons and introduce you to the new season!

Season 1: 2011

In 2011, in the mid of the Arab Spring, Arabs Got Talent premiered for the first time with a judging lineup of Amr Adeeb, Najwa Karam, and Ali Jaber. It was hosted by Raya Abirached who is still hosting the program, and Qusai. Egyptian Poet Amr Katamesh won this year’s competition after qualifying for the finals with Ahmed ElBayed and Nour Eldin Benoqas. This season reflected the renewal soul that emerged in the Arab world in the Arab Spring, especially in Arts.

Season 2: 2012

Same hosts and judges but now it’s Naser AlQasabi instead of Amr Adeeb. The interview stage was in 10 Arab countries, and the best Arab talented candidates were chosen to participate in the subsequent stages in Beirut. The winner of this year was the Saudi theatre team “Dark Thoughts” for their amazing performance in their theatrical performances in the dark. The performances got this techno and neon style and were special for their expressional quality.

Season 3: 2013

A special comedic taste in this season was added when Ahmed Helmy joined the judging panel as the fourth judge. Sima Group, the Syrian artistic dance group won the title of 2013 after keeping their level up from the very beginning till the finals.

Season 4: 2014

Dancing as always ascends the throne of Arabs Got Talent as the most talent winning the title when the French Moroccan 35-year-old hip-hop dancer Salah Benlemqawanssa. Salah’s patience and passion made him win the competition after he lost the title in season 1. This is what made season 4 special, the power of passion and patience it showed.

Season 5: 2017

After a break of two yours, season 5 takes place without Nasser AlQasabi. Singing stole the title this year after the child singer Emanne Beasha won. Emanne is the first kid to win the title as she showed a stunning magical talent in Opera style singing “Soprano”. She has the voice of a Russian fairytale which made her the strongest competitor on the Arabs Got Talent title!

Season 6: 2019

A new host has joined in the backstage and extra episodes, Wael Mansour as the new episode Arabs Got Talent Extra was added this season. This extra episode captured the scene of the backstage after the semi-finals, interviewing competitors, their trainers, and their people. Mayas, the Lebanese dancing team, won the title this season and made Arabs Got Talent the trend of social media and grabbed the attention of more people to watch. Mayyas has also won the same title in different natiions.

Season 7: 2024

The new season is now here after 4 years with a new judging lineup consisting of Najwa Karam, Nasser AlQasabi, and the one and only Bassem Youssef. Raya Abirached is still the host of the show making her one of the icons of Arabs Got Talent which will be streamed on Shahid!
