Ccapitalism offered a variety of products, and we became more greedy consumers. As a society, we are embedded within a culture of consumption. Consumerism brings out a passion in people to have things; be they objects or services, that will make them feel better, even if we purchase things we don’t need or are harmful. So, here are some products you won’t need and shouldn’t waste your money on.
Skincare and Beauty products if you want a face like an 80-year-old lady
1-L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives Night Serum: This night serum contains high levels of retinol, which can be too harsh on the skin, especially for those with sensitive skin. It can cause redness, dryness, and peeling.
2-Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water: This makeup remover and cleanser have been criticized for containing fragrance, which can be irritating to the skin. The formula is also quite thick and can leave a residue on the skin.
3-Dove deodorants and antiperspirants: Many of Dove’s antiperspirants contain aluminium, which is the active ingredient that blocks sweat glands. Some people are concerned about the potential health risks associated with aluminium. Some people find that the fragrance in Dove’s deodorants and antiperspirants can be too strong or overpowering. Additionally, some people may be sensitive or allergic to the fragrance.
4-Rhode skincare: Some users have reported experiencing allergic reactions after using Rhode Skincare products. These reactions can include rashes, redness, and itching.
5-Victoria Secret Lotions: their lotions have a strong fragrant scent, don’t hydrate, inflames your skin, and can cause acne.
Makeup I can swear it has never been tested
6- Nars eye shadow palette: Their palettes should be blended effortlessly using your fingertips.
but the biggest issue with the palette is that it does not cover all areas of the face well. It even will intensify the creases and give a patchy look to the skin. It also doesn’t give a finished look.
7-Sheglam Foundation: Sheglam Foundation is advertised as having full coverage, but it doesn’t. It has no shade range.
8- Maybelline Primer: It makes your skin look oily, but it also ruins your flawless makeup look. It does not smooth out acne, scars, or other skin concerns, and it fails to give a flawless base. It doesn’t do any favours for your pores.
9- Rem Beauty Concealer: A great choice if you want your concealer to look patchy and dry under your eyes, it doesn’t blend easily.
10-Mac Mascara: I realize that seeing this mascara on a list of the worst mascaras will come as a surprise to many people. Smudgy, flaky, and difficult to remove mascara. It has also been criticized for drying out too rapidly. It also is very expensive.
